“I want to remain in football and going into a director role or similar really appeals to me,” he shares. “I've always loved the intricacies of how football clubs are run.”

Having played for numerous clubs, including Bournemouth and Sheffield United, Moore feels his varied experiences have shaped his understanding of the game. “The highs and lows... have given me a clear picture on what it takes for teams to get promoted—or even relegated,” he says, proud of his well-rounded career.

“It sets me apart from others that haven't had the same experiences... It's a bit of a journey from a lifeguard, but long may it continue.”

Thriving Amidst Ambition

Joining Wrexham has filled Moore with fresh ambitions. With his team's keen investment and unwavering goal to reach the Premier League, he says, “The sky is the limit... the club is definitely destined for the Premier League. When a club comes up from League One and spends £30m, it shows their intent.”

Moore's role is critical: he scored five goals in his first ten appearances and is stepping into the substantial shoes left by fan-favorite Paul Mullin.

He jokes about the pressures of fame, noting that the cameras capturing his every move provide a unique challenge, yet he embraces it. “I've always loved having that burden of responsibility,” he explains.

World Cup Goals

With the World Cup lurking on the horizon, Moore's sights are not solely set on individual success. “I want to help us get to the World Cup and, once we're there, to have a big impact,” he insists, nodding to his earlier contributions in qualifying matches.

As Wales aims for a spot in the global tournament, Moore knows his performance will be vital. “Given my new graduate status, they will just have to remember to put letters after my name,” he quips, showcasing his humor and ambition.
