But within hours of the footage's release, the narrative had shifted. Far-right figures in the United States, including Elon Musk and social media influencers, began amplifying the story as evidence of antiwhite racism in Britain.

Elon Musk, who has shown a troubling pattern of commenting on international incidents that align with his political leanings, shared dozens of posts over a 24-hour period about the Nowak case. His most inflammatory statement claimed: "Official police policy requires them to be racist against whites," suggesting a systematic bias within British law enforcement.

Musk's influence is not just about volume; it's about amplification. As one of the most followed individuals on social media, his statements reach millions instantly. The fact that he also shared content from far-right British agitator Tommy Robinson shows how easily he can help fuel tensions across borders.

Robinson, known for his inflammatory rhetoric and activism, called on people to gather outside the Southampton Central Police Station. This call was echoed by UK Reform Party leader Nigel Farage, who urged people to respond with "pure cold rage."

Far-Right Reaction and Disinformation

The disinformation campaign didn't stop there. Right-wing podcaster Mike Cernovich posted: "You will be called racist for standing up for the West, or watch your boy bleed out on camera," invoking fear tactics to rally support.

Nick Fuentes, a prominent white nationalist, took the opportunity to frame the event as a "white George Floyd" and called for the execution of the killer. His statement: "Unless white people are willing to fight for a place in this world, then we are going to ԁіе," is part of a long tradition of scapegoating and fearmongering used by hate groups.

Fuentes also posted on X, writing: "This is an allegory for what is happening to European civilization on a global scale." This type of rhetoric not only misrepresents the facts but actively contributes to societal division.

Patterns of Interference

This isn't the first time Musk has been accused of inciting violence or influencing political outcomes in the UK. In 2024, he was widely blamed for helping to fuel anti-immigration riots, and in 2023, he and figures like Steve Bannon were instrumental in stoking calls for civil war in Ireland.

The pattern is clear: powerful individuals who are not bound by the same political structures or cultural norms as local leaders can inadvertently or intentionally amplify hate.
