This season has been full of twists and turns. At first glance, Week 8 seemed to set the tone for a shift towards betting favorites, boasting an impressive 11-2 ATS record. Will the momentum continue into November as we enter the latter half of the season? Here are my top picks:
1. Colts (-3.5) at Steelers — 1 p.m. (CBS)
The Colts are on fire with a record of 7-1, boasting the best point differential in the NFL at +116. The oddsmakers are, surprisingly, still treating them like a middle-tier AFC team. But, with a recently struggling Steelers defense, I see the Colts covering convincingly. They are well-coached and hungry.
Pick: Colts -3.5 (best odds: -105 at FanDuel)
2. Chargers (-10) at Titans — 1 p.m. (CBS)
The Chargers are back in business after a dominant win over the Vikings in Week 8. With Joe Alt returning to tackle, they showed spunk, and I expect them to capitalize on a Titans squad that's lacking key personnel, including their top defender, Jeffery Simmons. The line is already moving towards a -10.5 for the Chargers, and I'm hopping on it!
Pick: Chargers -10 (best odds: -112 at DK)
3. Saints at Rams (-14) — 4:05 p.m. (FOX)
The Rams are looking to extend their lead with another blowout, especially with the Saints struggling at 1-7. Rookie Tyler Shough has yet to prove himself as a credible starter. With the Rams coming off a bye, the odds favor them heavily, and I expect them to cover the spread.
Pick: Rams -14 (best odds: -115 at DraftKings)
