The United Nations, once a beacon of hope, appears paralyzed, unable to respond effectively to emerging global challenges.

The crises in Syria, Yemen, and Ukraine serve as emblematic reminders of international law's failures. Despite the presence of numerous treaties and agreements, atrocities continue unabated while the global community watches in a state of inaction.

The Illusion of Sovereignty

One of international law's cornerstone principles — state sovereignty — is now heavily contested. In theory, sovereignty was meant to protect nations.
