Rock Legends Unite: An Unforgettable Night for Cancer Research

Backstage Pass to a Supergroup

In an extraordinary melding of talent and purpose, six vocalists from the beloved Seventies and Eighties rock era will take the stage together for the first time. The Scott Hamilton and Friends charity event promises to be a highlight of the year, taking place on November 23rd at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The Lineup

Fans can expect to see:

The lineup is as impressive as it is nostalgic, bringing together a roster that has produced some of the biggest hits of the last century. Each artist, a legend in their own right, contributes unique charisma that has shaped music history.

A Cause Worth Cheering For

Beyond the music, this event holds profound meaning. Scott Hamilton, a celebrated Olympic figure skater and cancer survivor, established this event not just for entertainment but as part of his ongoing commitment to cancer research through organizations like CARES and The 4th Angel. This is an effort to pair newly diagnosed patients with survivors, creating a community of support.

“It's going to be a big old rock and roll show,” Hamilton expressed, reflecting on the sheer star power of the event. “So many of these guys are my heroes. Back in the day, I would've killed to get a backstage pass to see or meet or to be in the same proximity as these guys, and now I'm producing them in my show. It's like, are you kidding me?”

Ice and Melody: A Unique Fusion

The night will also feature phenomenal figure skaters, including Nathan Chen and Gracie Gold, who will perform choreography set to the classic hits performed live. Hamilton plans to transform Bridgestone Arena into a theatrical spectacle, creating an intimate setting where music and skating merge seamlessly.

Hamilton promises, “We turn Bridgestone Arena into a theater — we take out the glass, we bring the seats all the way down to the ice... It's so intimate. There are no barriers.”

The Legacy of Giving

The fundraising event is projected to create significant support for cancer research centers, reflecting Hamilton's lifelong commitment to combatting the disease he knows all too well. In his vision, he imagines a world transformed by science, declaring, “There'll be a day where no one dies of cancer.”

For fans of classic rock and compassionate causes, this concert is an unmissable occasion. Not only do the performing artists embody an era celebrated for its impact on music, but their joint effort also champions a cause that touches us all. Join us for a night that will resonate far beyond the last note played.
