Despite massive increases, Atkinson points to the accessibility of practice day tickets starting from as low as 89 euros, with junior tickets hitting an appealing 20 euros.

But this invites another question: Does this steep price translate to value? As Atkinson elaborated, they are focused on enhancing the fan experience with an extensive entertainment program. "From the moment people arrive at 6:30 AM, they'll be entertained not only by 24 of the best golfers in the world but also through a series of engaging experiences outside the ropes," he elaborated. Not to mention, there will be over 20,000 grandstand seats—record-breaking for any European Ryder Cup.

What Fans Can Expect

Atkinson remains confidently optimistic that fans will find great value for their investment. In anticipation of a sold-out event, he points out that over half a million people have already registered interest in tickets, indicating an already immense demand. Tickets for the practice days are priced lower, giving fans opportunities to experience the sport firsthand without breaking the bank.

Prioritizing Local Support

Interestingly, local residents will have first dibs on ticket sales, with a priority window set for April 24, leading into a global ballot opening on June 3. This forecasting suggests a crowd heavily composed of local supporters, likely at about one-third out of a total expected 250,000 attendees throughout the week.
