April 20—It was a remarkable weekend for the Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets as both the baseball and softball teams made a significant impact in UMAC play against North Central. Kylie Zwak exhibited sheer dominance, racking up three hits and driving in four runs. Her teammates Delaney Johnson, MyKenzie Leccia, and Larissa Snyder also proved formidable, with multiple RBIs throughout both games.

Pitching Brilliance

“We came out strong and set the tone early,” said Abby Mitchell, who pitched a two-hit shutout in the first game.

Mitchell's performance was just what the team needed. She struck out four batters, exemplifying a balance of control and aggression on the mound. In the second game, it was Carly Stuckmayer who took center stage, driving in six runs, while pitcher Bethany Lewis limited her opponents to just one unearned run.

The baseball squad mirrored their counterparts' success, opening their series on April 16 with an 11-0 defeat of North Central.
